A VIDEO COMPETITION WAS HELD AT THE FACULTY
A video competition was organized at the initiative of Nazrin Aliyeva, an hourly-paid lecturer at the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology, Baku State University (BSU). Students majoring in Social Work from Baku State University and Baku Business University participated in the competition. In the submitted videos, students attempted to analyze the most pressing social problems of the modern era.
Students from the English-language Social Work program groups “SW 27”, “SW 29”, and “SW 31” of Baku State University and groups “822A”, “822C”, and “822E” of Baku Business University presented video projects titled “Aysun’s Silence”, “Sometimes Just a Word, a Look”, “Life Through the Eyes of a Schizophrenic”, “Winter and Summer on the Same Day”, “Between Two Realities”, and “Voices Unheard”. The videos addressed topics such as domestic violence, mental health and bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and child abuse.
By decision of the jury, the video “Winter and Summer on the Same Day”, prepared by third-year students of group 822A from Baku Business University, was selected as the winner of the competition.
